Servers tremble... Routers melt... The Myth II: Soulblighter demo hits the 'Net.

A playable demo of Bungie Software's archetypal real-time strategy game Myth II: Soulblighter is now available for download at a variety of sites spanning the internet.

A page of links is available at http://www.bungie.com/mythii/demo.html, which lists some of the many sites that are hosting both PC and Mac versions.

The demo contains a playable tutorial, two single-player scenarios and one multiplayer map. The multiplayer game allows two game types, Last Man on the Hill and a new game, Assassin. The multiplayer game can be played by up to 16 people via LAN, direct TCP/IP connection or for free over Bungie's internet game server, bungie.net.

The full game contains twenty-five single-player levels, nineteen multiplayer maps (including Light and Dark versions), thirteen multiplayer game types and two powerful game editors for making custom Myth scenarios.
