This year, Synapsis was blessed with double
coverage of SXSW. We never expected to be so lucky - but when Rick and Richard McCauley
came to us and offered to provide a unique father and son perspective of SXSW - to bring
you the scoop on the biggest music industry event in the US, we thought we'd died and gone
to heaven.
Little did we know that shortly afterwards, Cara
Hollandsworth (one of our favorite guest contributors) would offer us her own look at SXSW
2001, along with a few photos taken at the performances she attended on Saturday. As luck
would have it, she managed to attend a completely different set of shows than Rick &
Richard had, and in doing so, allows us to offer you an even broader view of SXSW 2001.
